What To Write In A 21st Birthday Card

41. The Gaels, blessed children of Dana (Part Four)

Yes my child, five long years passed before other passengers awake. Imagine how great was their surprise to see how their islands had changed. Trees laden with fruit had grown where the remains were thrown rotten. The cattle thrived and gave many small grazing in the lush meadows of the archipelago. Seedlings had become gigantic and majestic trees which have had strong could make enough wood to build magnificent mansions. Where were assembled a few houses set itself up a prosperous city worthy of the ancient cities of the old continent. In honor of the clan leader, she was named Bam Radon Tyre.

You wonder what became of the eggs? They had finally hatched and left out of the larvae over time had become Kraocks. The women easily domesticated and made flying mounts are practical for moving from one island to another.

However, Radon and its warriors, after five years of this long sleep, were inhabited by the bitterness that had accompanied them in their slumber. They were haunted by the disappearance of their loved ones and death of Cormac that nobody had avenged. Also, since nobody cared about most of the missing or those who had kidnapped, Radon and his warriors took over the sea in the idea of finding them. Nobody could object to this decision was irreversible warriors. But before leaving, my young friend, Radon left with only a horn blowing in direction if one day the island was in danger.

For ten years, waves, empty and useless, swept the shores of the archipelago without Radon nor any of his men would return. Until the day arose new vessels. They were not proud vessel profiles and they were not wooden rafts. It was a hundred veils to curraghs black, wrapped in fog, led by small dark-skinned creatures covered with tattoos scary red that is most striking, dark-haired and wiry, with wild eyes shone brightly.

Yes, child, it was frightful creatures that could have been mistaken for demons. Hybrid beings primitive and wild. The Fir Bolg were back. When they touched land, they separated into three groups led by their three counts, Fir Bolg, Fir and Fir Dommin Galians, and went to explore the island green. They did not forget a single valley. They surveyed the course of least rivers from source to estuary or estuary at the source. They did not hesitate to climb the hills and make their way in any forest or among the most dense undergrowth.

While people scared trying to hide, a man blew the horn that the chef had left. A sound so powerful that came out in the Fir Bolg were petrified and remained paralyzed, as living statues. The inhabitants of the archipelago took the opportunity to kill many of these vile creatures whose blood gorged quickly the soil of the plains. Hours after the horn had sounded, the ship appeared off the Radon islands. When the chief put ashore, they were all amazed to see that despite the past decade, Radon nor any of its fighters had aged.

Radon advanced among the piles of corpses the Fir Bolg and then went to those who had not been killed. He addressed them in a language none of his family except his men did not understand. Fir Bolg then knelt and their three leaders, Fir Bolg, Fir Dommin and Fir Galians, kissed his feet. Then the Fir Bolg went home, leaving behind their curraghs eighty. Yes my son, was the tribute that Radon had taken. The three leaders remained on the island and burned the bodies of their warriors in a huge blaze. Radon had told them they would regain their freedom only if they had those abducted were returned to their people.

So it was done. And a week later, those who had been forcibly taken ten years before came back on the green islands. All the people cheered in jubilation as it should be. During a whole month of festivities were held in honor of their return and also that of Radon who had triumphed over the Fir Bolg. The hero and his men took over the sea with three heads, Fir Bolg, Fir and Fir Dommin Galians, they left in the distant regions where the strange Fir Bolg came and never came back. The legend does not say if they returned to the fabled land where Dana had appeared to Radon, the chronicles do not teach men where is the beauti ...

Thus, life resumed its course to the archipelago without the Gaels never forget who had become legend among his people. Only survived his strange horn, overlooking the throne of High King of Tyre Bam Radon. But do not forget that the most famous are not immortal in this land, to remember the sacrifice of Cormac the Traveller, after seven years of rule, the High King is sacrificed. Yes my friend, so ... And sitting in his place comes the wisest of warriors of the archipelago.
